The Manchester derby is one of the biggest dates in the footballing calendar, but this year there is an extra added kick to the contest.
The huge derby day fixture is a game that sees red v blue, a storied history v a new found glory, and one huge rivalry that fans alike will talk about until both teams cross that white line at 7pm tonight.
Both teams this year, are going for different objectives in the league but want to hold the bragging rights for who is the best side in the city of Manchester!
Manchester United and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, have hit a very poor run of form. With a great start winning 14 out of the first 19 games, United have lost their last four out of six games in all competitions.
With a 4-0 thrashing to Everton over the Easter weekend, Solskjaer’s side and their commitment has been seriously questioned. United where left three points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, and take on a dangerous City side.
Manchester City travel to Old Trafford, with a win it would see them move above Liverpool at the top of the table and leave them in control of their own destiny with three games remaining in the league.
Any poor result, will leave Liverpool in pole position in the race for the title and is something that many United fans wont find too pleasant. Solskjaer will look for a reaction from his players, and a change of team selection could well be on the cards for tonight’s huge game.
Should Solskjaer reshuffle the defence, make changes to the midfield and sort the attack? Man City have scored the most goals this calendar year with 87 and conceded the second least amount of goals with 22.
Why not have a bet on the action? United are huge underdogs at 11/2 and Man City priced 4/9. Check out our other odds on the game via Toalsbet.com
