I have two rides at Southwell today.
Waltz Darling, a winner of six races under rules, hasn’t tasted success since December 2015. He ran moderately on four occasions this year, the latest at Market Rasen in September. He has dropped to a good mark but needs to step up considerably to get involved.
Mariners Moon ran well at Warwick two weeks ago and looks the form choice.
Adjourned, a three-year-old is one of eleven first-timers in the concluding bumper. He is a well bred gelded son of Rip Van Winkle running in the colours of very successful owner John Dance. My horse goes well in work and I am looking forward to the ride.
Megan’s Choice from the Tom Lacey stable looks well related and could be the main danger.
