Jockey Brian Hughes ride at Worcester
July 9th, 2018

Brian Hughes gives us the low-down for his races at Worcester 9/7/18

Worcester Racecourse: 09.07.2018

(3.55) Beach Break has finished second on his last two outings. He looked the winner, when I was in the saddle, last day at Cartmel but wandered about in the last furlong and was collared close home. This was only his fifth hurdle start and I expect him to run a big race today racing over 2 miles. Chef De Troupe and Tommy Hallinan are the likely challengers.
(4.25) Golden Friday finished in midfield when he ran at the course last time. He needs to show considerable improvement on his third hurdle starts to get into contention. Weightfordave on the best of his form and a clear round would appear the likely winner.
(5.30 Jamacho ran well for me at Stratford in early June finishing runner-up to Aardwolf who reopposes today. My horse has had a wind op since his last run and benefits from a twelve-pound weight turnaround. The stable is in good form and I am looking forward to the ride. Aardwolf and Excellent Team look the main threats.
