Brian’s 100 Not Out for the Season

Congratulations to Brian on getting to 100 Winners for the Season with his treble at Bangor yesterday.  His mounts Same Circus @ 11/2, Knock House @ 5/1 and The Some Dance Kid @ 15/8 combined for a 111/1 treble.  We would have been in bother if 2nd placed Lickpenny Larry had of won at an SP of 6/1!!

1.00 – Robbing The Prey

Robbing The Prey ,a dual chase winner, has put in a couple of below-par performances since his last success at Haydock in May  .The track and the trip will be fine and with a good round of jumping, he can be competitive in this four runner field.

Main Danger

Amour De Nuit a winner of two of his last three looks the danger.

2.10 – Zoffany Bay

Twice successful on the flat, he opened his account over hurdles at Plumpton 40 days ago and followed up with a respectable run at Hereford despite a bad blunder at the last.  He is bottom weight and needs a step forward to make the frame today.

Main Danger

There are strong rivals in last years winner Irish Roe and recent course winner Chieftain’s Choice.

2.45 – Capone

Capone showed ability on the flat in Germany with two placings and a good run in a listed contest beaten under four lengths.  He makes his hurdling debut in a hot Grade2 contest and may find experienced pair Cracker Factory and Quel Destin difficult to handle.

Main Danger

Cracker Factory and Quel Destin should be there or there abouts.

3.20 – Lofgren

Lofgren a winner of six under rules including chases for me in August and October put in a pleasing run at Wetherby four weeks ago when third.  He is a consistent horse and will appreciate the step up in trip today.  The stable is in good form and we are looking forward to running him.

Main Danger

Go Conquer third in a Grade 3 last time may be the one to beat.
