Brians Hunting Down the Opposition at Huntingdon

I travel to Huntington for three rides today.

2:30 ANDOK

Andok makes his debut in the Novice Hurdle.  The Richard Fahey stable is normally associated with the flat but has provided me with two hurdle winners this season Judge Earle and Chief Justice. Andok has won four races on the flat including two over ten furlongs this summer.  He arrives fit and well and provided he takes to obstacles should run a big race.

Carntop won two hurdles lately and looks the main danger.

Inniscastle Lad is still a maiden after a dozen rules outings.  He has the ability but seems reluctant to display it on the racetrack.  I have ridden him in his last four outings and his best effort was beaten twenty lengths at Uttoxeter in July.  He is dropping down the handicap and maybe he will decide to put his best foot forward today.

Boughtbeforelunch may be the answer in an open looking contest.

4:40 CARRY ON

Carry On is trained by Kevin Ryan, who is like Richard Fahey noted for flat runners.  My horse comes from a good family related to Beyond The Clouds.  He is working well at home and I expect a big run on racecourse debut.

In a field of eleven newcomers, Beast of Belstane looks interesting on pedigree.
