Top 5 Sour Bakes of British Management

With only a few weeks into the domestic campaigns throughout Britain already some managers are on the touchlines with some serious sour facial expressions at their teams performances. If you are a Manchester United fan look away now as Jose is at it again with dull interviews and the look as if the world is against him… We have decided upon top 5 sour bakes of British management who are never happy!

5. Sir Alex Ferguson

When things were going well at United under Fergie the bold Scotsman looked like the world’s best winner. However, when things took a turn for the worse his temper flared at the media, journalists and in some cases his own players. That famous incident between himself and David Beckham, the boot that Sir Alex kicked at Beckham that caught him above the eyebrow leaving a gash which required 2 stitches. The angry Scot also had many altercations with the English press here are some of his best bits from those interviews…

4. Arsene Wenger

A man who developed Arsenal Football Club into a powerhouse of English football throughout his time as gaffer. However, the loyal gunners started to turn on the French man prior to the sale of Robin Van Persie to their bitter rivals Manchester United in the 12/13 season. Since this season it is fair to say Arsenal have been on a down word spiral with both their Premier League form and their Champions League form, the only fall back of success for Wenger was the FA Cup wins in 2014,2015 and 2017. The last two seasons have undoubtedly not been good enough for Arsenal and certainly took their toll on Arsene. He looked like a beaten man, like the world was a against him and some very cagey interviews with the British media! Watch below a very angry Arsene Wenger speaking to the media…

3. Roy Keane

Keano… without doubt is potentially the most angriest man in football! The once Irish international will be forever remembered as one of footballs hard men who let no one away with anything. The famous bust up with Sir Alex is well documented and to this day Keane still states ‘He will never forgive him’. When Keane made the transition to management not much changed with the fiery Irish man, with many heated interviews with the media and fall outs with players. He is a character that you would be certainly very nervous going to interview! Check out below that famous press conference that was interrupted by a phone call…

2. Neil Lennon

As a player and manager, former Celtic midfielder, captain and coach has always worn his heart on his sleeve. That famous night in March 2011 at Parkhead will live long in the memory of football fans, when he went toe-to-toe with then Rangers manager Ally McCoist after an Old Firm Scottish Cup tie. The now Hibs boss was again in controversy in March 2017 when he and Jim Duffy the then Morton manager were going at each other after a ferocious tackle on one of Lenny’s players. Check out the spat between Lennon and Duffy below it does not disappoint!

1. Jose Mourinho

Already two weeks into the new Premier League season its the same old Jose. After an embarrassing defeat and performance from his team on Sunday it was the same old doom and gloom Mourinho in the post match press conference. The on going speculation about his and Paul Pogba’s relationship is not helping matters with the Portuguese gaffer. A once great and genius of the modern day management now finds himself in a all time low moment in his career. Jose now has the look of a struggling manager who is really under pressure to turn things round at Old Trafford… but the question is if he can? Check out below when Jose was not best pleased with a BBC reporter!
