UFC Rochester: Best KO of the year?

This past weekend the UFC’s octagon rolled into Rochester, New York for the very first time.

Lets be honest the card looked pretty poor, especially with a late withdrawal from Neil Magny who was the scheduled co-main event. The question at the weigh-ins on Friday was would this be one of the worst events of the year?

The main event match-up was the only real fight worth staying up for, in a welterweight clash between Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee. Well. as I wrongly thought…

The event delivered more finishes than any other UFC card so far this year. Sure, we saw a stunning head-kick KO in the very first fight of the night!

Julio Arce’s expertly timed head-kick against Julian Erosa and Felicia Spencer submitting UFC featherweight Megan Anderson in her UFC debut, gave fight fans an unexpected and surprisingly good show.

But just watch below, ill say no more….

UFC debutant Michel Periera pulled off this incredible knockout, which looks like he pressed L2 + 0 followed by the B button on his Playstation controller with this incredible finish.

Michel Pereira is 35 years old, we can’t really call him a new up and coming prospect but you catch the drift. Impressive stuff!
