Ulster Club Hurling Finals this weekend!

This weekend two Antrim sides will take center stage in the Ulster Club Hurling Finals and hope to lift some silverware on the way.

Can Dunloy and Naomh Eanna lift the Ulster Senior and Intermediate trophies? Will they progress into the All-Ireland Club series?

Also this weekend Down side Newry Shamrocks take on Derry’s Eoghan Rua in the Ulster Junior Hurling final.


Ulster Senior Hurling Final-Dunloy v Slaughtneil

The big game this weekend in the Ulster Club Hurling Finals see’s Dunloy and Slaughtneil meet in the senior final this Sunday, following semi final victories over Ballycran and Middletown respectively.

Antrim champions Dunloy defeated the Down champions Ballycran on a convincing 2-23 to 0-12 scoreline two weeks ago, to book their place in the Ulster final.

While their opponents in Derry’s Slaughtneil also booked their ticket to the final, beating Armagh club Middletown 1-17 to 0-08 in the other semi final game.

Ulster Intermediate Hurling Final-Naomh Eanna v Eoghan Ruadh Dungannon

Turning our attention to the Ulster Intermediate Hurling final Antrim’s Naomh Eanna will meet Eoghan Ruadh of Tyrone on Saturday at Owenbeg.

The Antrim Intermediate champions St Endas who are managed by former Antrim and Cushendall star Sambo McNaughton, beat Down’s Bredagh by two points on a score of 0-18 to 0-16 in the semi-final.

The opponents Eoghan Ruadh from Dungannon, progressed to the final with victory over club side Keady from Armagh by a scoreline of 1-16 to 0-15.
