Who will lift the Premier League trophy? Final Day Tomorrow

We have come to that time in the league season where we are one step closer to crowning our champions for 2019 Premier League season. I’m sure fans of the Pool and City wish this day will hurry up, unless you loose of course…..

Manchester City currently leads the title race with 95 points, just ahead of close contenders Liverpool behind them on just a single point with 94.

The favorites City are faced with a potential banana skin when they travel to face Brighton away from home. Chris Houghton’s men are known for being very well organized and will make this a tough game for City to control, especially with their dominant passing game.

While Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool has their own hands full, they will welcome Wolves to Anfield at 3pm. The Merseyside club will need to forget about the City game and can only focus on their own fate, but of course, it will not be easy.

Both Brighton and Wolves are big underdogs going into the final day of the season, with their own status confirmed for next season. This doesn’t mean that either team could cause a huge upset! Hopefully, says Liverpool fans.

During the week, Spurs pulled off an incredible comeback victory over Ajax to book their place in the Champions League final on the 1st of June. The North-Londoners will look to solidify their place in the top four when they take on Everton at home.

Spurs sit in the final Champions League spot on 70 points but aren’t comfortable with neighbors Arsenal breathing over their shoulder.

Arsenal who have 67 points are hot on their heels for a top-four place, after their Thursday night 7-3 victory over Valencia in the Europa League. Unai Emery’s men travel away to face a tough Burnley side who have had a poor season by their own standards sitting in 15th position.

Arsenal mathematically cannot make the top four, as they will need Spurs to get beat by Everton and score eight goals of their own due to the goal difference between the sides. But in football, anything is possible!

Chelsea sit comfortably in third spot with 71 points, and will still be confirmed in the top four places no matter their result in the fixture against Leicester.
