Will Brian Walk on Ayr Today?

It was a disappointing afternoon at Musselburgh with four seconds so hopefully more luck on the west coast at Ayr today.

2.10 – Echo Express

Echo Express, a bumper winner, fought back well when challenged on second chasing start for me to win by half a length at Hexham 21 days ago. He retains the cheekpieces and has an excellent chance of a follow up despite the five pound rise. He is an improving horse and will be suited by the track.

Main Danger

John Williams a winner last time may give my mount a test.

2.40 – Senor Lombardy

A bumper and hurdles winner. Senor Lombardy fell on his second chase start at Kelso 24 days ago. He makes his handicap hurdling debut today and if none the worse for his last day experience should be right in contention.Arthur’s Secret running well recently looks the main rival.

Main Danger

Arthur’s Secret running well recently, looks the main rival.

3.10 – Glittering Love

Glittering Love won for me on chasing debut at Hexham thirteen days ago leaving behind moderate hurdling form. He should relish the step up in trip and has every chance of another win with Present Flight the one to beat.

Main Danger

Present Flight is the other horse to watch.

3.45 – Lily’s Gem

Lily’s Gem, runner up at Carlisle in March, won next time at the same track by 12 lengths from The Some Dance Kid. The form has been franked as the second was successful in two hurdles in the closing months of last year. The stable has a good strike rate with their bumper runners and she has every chance of doubling her tally.

Main Danger

Holme Abbey representing last years winning stable is the main challenger.
