It was a disappointing afternoon at Musselburgh with four seconds so hopefully more luck on the west coast at Ayr today.
Echo Express, a bumper winner, fought back well when challenged on second chasing start for me to win by half a length at Hexham 21 days ago. He retains the cheekpieces and has an excellent chance of a follow up despite the five pound rise. He is an improving horse and will be suited by the track.
John Williams a winner last time may give my mount a test.
A bumper and hurdles winner. Senor Lombardy fell on his second chase start at Kelso 24 days ago. He makes his handicap hurdling debut today and if none the worse for his last day experience should be right in contention
Arthur’s Secret running well recently, looks the main rival.
Glittering Love won for me on chasing debut at Hexham thirteen days ago leaving behind moderate hurdling form. He should relish the step up in
Present Flight is the other horse to watch.
Lily’s Gem,
Holme Abbey representing last years winning stable is the main challenger.
